Even if you aren’t quite ready to run, it’s good to have candidate preparation. In November 2005, now-President Barack Obama was just one of several Illinois State Senators, with no chance of winning the upcoming Democratic primary for US Senator. By September of 2006 (a full 2 months before the election), now-President Obama had essentially confirmed his nomination for U.S. Senate. The front runners in both the Democratic and Republican parties both fell due to scandal. President Obama was ready with a solid campaign, and was then able to
ease into a landslide victory 2 months later.
Before we begin, we will ask you a series of hard questions. This may seem like a strange idea, but if you can’t deal with the tough questions with someone who would like to help you, how will you be able to stand up against your opponents?
Questions include:
- What makes you qualified for this position?
- Why you, and no one else?
- What will derail your campaign?
- Why are you a better choice than your opponents?
- What resources do you you currently have (financial, personnel,
endorsements, etc.)?
Our philosophy is “Wounds from a friend can be trusted, but an enemy multiplies kisses.” (Proverbs 27:6). We will be honest with you, and tell you what you need to hear, not necessarily what you want to hear.
We can provide you with basic web pages, hosting, and an easy-to-use WordPress system.
